By submitting payment, the customer authorizes gemForwarder™ to begin shipment coordination, booking, carrier procurement, documentation processing, scheduling, and related logistics services.
All payments made to gemForwarder™ are considered earned upon receipt and are generally non-refundable. Upon payment, shipment coordination and operational services begin immediately, including carrier sourcing, booking requests, documentation review, scheduling, administrative processing, and other logistics-related activities.
If a customer elects to cancel a shipment after payment has been made, any refund request shall be reviewed solely at gemForwarder™'s discretion and may be subject to administrative fees, carrier cancellation fees, booking fees, documentation fees, storage fees, handling fees, and any other costs incurred or committed on the customer's behalf.
Once cargo has been tendered, picked up, delivered to a warehouse, terminal, consolidator, carrier, NVOCC, airline, steamship line, destination agent, or otherwise entered into the transportation process, all payments shall be deemed fully earned and non-refundable.
Customers remain responsible for any storage charges, re-delivery charges, carrier cancellation charges, return freight charges, customs-related expenses, and other costs arising from customer-requested cancellation, abandonment, refusal, delay, or change of instructions.
All sales are final. No refunds shall be issued for services already performed, carrier reservations already secured, administrative work already completed, or costs incurred on behalf of the customer.
