Cargo Declaration & Underpayment Policy

Individual Item Count Requirement:
All shipments under Emerald Transport & Logistics' gemBulk and consolidated cargo programs are billed based on individual pieces, not weight, volume, or bundling. Each box, barrel, furniture item, or bundled unit that is physically separate or must be handled independently by our team is counted as one piece. This standard applies regardless of whether multiple items are wrapped, taped, or strapped together.

Bundling Abuse Clause:
Deliberate attempts to conceal multiple items inside one bundle to avoid higher pricing tiers are considered an abuse of our program and a violation of policy. Bundled cargo will be recounted and reclassified at the warehouse. The client will be invoiced for the correct pricing tier based on the verified number of individual pieces.

Underpayment Consequences:
If a shipment is underpaid based on incorrect or misrepresented piece count:

• The cargo will be held and not shipped until the invoice is corrected and the balance is paid in full.
   
• Emerald Transport & Logistics reserves the right to re-invoice at the proper tier, without notice, based on warehouse verification.
   
• Repeated abuse of this policy may result in account suspension or denial of future services.
   

By paying your invoice and using our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your cargo may be verified and adjusted prior to dispatch if discrepancies arise.
